At Movement Redefined, we believe that you shouldn’t have to choose between performing at a high level and feeling good in your body. Here’s a story that is a powerful example of what’s possible when movement is addressed the right way.
Brittney is a Coach at F45 Training. She is also a dedicated athlete and high-level runner who had been dealing with persistent left leg discomfort for about a year and a half. Running is her passion and escape, but it had become consistently aggravating. Despite the discomfort, she continued to push through, maintaining strong performance, but not feeling great in her body.
She was losing the joy of running, and her pain was dominating her attention and focus.
Before coming to Movement Redefined, Brittney had previously completed six months of physical therapy, but with limited benefit. She felt a little better, but was still just doing her best to manage symptoms, not able to solve the underlying issues.
She is only three weeks into her journey with us, but she is already noticing the change.
Brittney has already had runs and workouts without pain or limitation. Movements and exercises that previously triggered discomfort are no longer doing so, and she is just getting started.
Our focus with Brittney is addressing her postural system, identifying and correcting asymmetries and compensations, and retraining body mechanics to improve her movement efficiency. The goal isn't simply pain relief, it's helping her body work well for her, not against her.
As she prepares for the Shamrock Half Marathon, she’s using physical therapy not just to “get through” the race, but to build a foundation for many races to come.
It’s confidence. It’s freedom. It’s being able to push your body, trust it, and truly enjoy the process again.
We’re excited to continue supporting Brittney as she trains, races, and does what she loves, without discomfort holding her back.
