Newsletter 9 - Remember Those Goals You Made in January?


It's Time for a Mid-Year Check-In

Hey everyone! Dr. Dante here. Can you believe we're at the end of July already!?

We are now more than half way through the year. We have just over 5 months until we're ringing in 2026!

But let's go back to January 1, 2025. If you're like many people you came up with New Year resolutions and set goals for the year. And like many of us, those goals have become just a distant memory at this point.

You were ambitious. You thought you had a good plan. This was going to be the year for big change.

Then came February. Then March. Life pulled you in different directions. Your goals got lost in the shuffle. And now you're looking back like, "Where did the time go?"

It's okay. You're a human, and life happens. Plans aren't going to be perfect. Sometimes our goals end up being on a different timeline.

But there's good news! You still have plenty of time in 2025 to make some amazing changes and crush your goals!

This requires some planning and work though. First, choose 1 goal. It can be a big goal, but only 1, so you can focus your energy and not chase too many things at once.

Next, your goal needs to be specific, measurable, actually something you can achieve, relevant and meaningful to your life, and something you can accomplish by the end of 2025.

Also, you need to set a series of smaller goals that you can achieve week to week that progress you toward your 1 big goal.

As an example, if you want to run a half marathon by the end of the year, but you haven't run since you were a kid you need to make week to week plan. This will include a progressive running program, maybe starting with walking, then gradually increasing time, distance, and frequency each week.

If you set yourself up with a successful plan you'll surprise yourself how much you can achieve in the next 5 months
